The Healing Fund scholarships are open to any Nantucket community member pursuing education, training and/or professional development in the field of mental health. The Healing Fund views mental health from a holistic lens and supports a variety of mental health programs including: psychological, emotional, spiritual and energetic healing modalities.

Although this scholarship is intended for those who want to bring their services back to the island, we understand that life is unpredictable. To honor both our mission of increasing access to mental health on the island, and the fluid nature of life, scholarship applicants are asked to commit to one year of work on Nantucket after completion of their program to offer their needed services to the community.

2. HEALING FUND THERAPEUTIC SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION 2022

Healing is not always accessible nor affordable within the contexts of the existing healthcare system in the United States.  In addition to the reality that many mental health services are not fully covered by health insurance (if at all), we also recognize that many in need of these services do not have any health insurance.

Our therapeutic scholarship provides immediate financial assistance to Nantucket community members seeking support for their mental, emotional and spiritual well-being.  This fund can be applied to weekly therapy, membership to a yoga or meditation studio, bodywork sessions, a holistic healing intensive, a spiritual retreat or any other resource or experience that one is seeking as an avenue for healing.

Please send an email to nantuckethealingfund@gmail.com

Applications received on a rolling basis throughout the 2022 year.
